front hood latches installation instructions needed

how to install Smart Car front hood locking mechanism driver side lock lower OEM? Cannot figure out how to install the lower part of the locking mechanism.

Are you referring to the pins that release from the bottom (grille) section? If you can take a pic of what you are working with, it may help.

Hi,

Are you able to open the lower and release handles/locking levers? There should simply be a few screws holding them in place. It appears once they are removed, the pins should be removable.

If you look up from the bottom, you should see a retaining screw on each lever.
