Front heater not working properly

There is no air coming out of the front vents or when I push the defrost button. But there is air coming out of the rear vents, but only will blow no heat comes out of the rear vents. My boy friend went to work with the heat working but when he got off no air come out of the front vents.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
