You are most likely correct that this is going to happen anywhere. However, what this noise is, is when the pads and rotors are not fully seated or you have what is called a glaze on them. Basically you have an issue with the way the pads and rotors are mating.

If you had this done, then I would take it back and show them the issue. Keep in mind it may not do it when they are hot so you may have to leave it with them overnight so they can do it in the morning.
When they get hot the mating between them can change and it will stop.
The other possible cause is the rattle clips that they used are not holding the pads firmly and it is causing this noise. This is more rare but either way, this is related to the new pads and resurface rotors. Lastly it is not uncommon for this to happen when you replace pads and resurface the rotors.
