When I try to squeeze the pistons in, the other one wants to come out. They don't both go in together. I can still get the caliper to install but not as easily as the other side. Is this, okay? Thanks

As long as they are on you should be fine, I always do one side at a time to avoid this problem, also or you can stick a block of wood in the opposite caliper you are trying to reset. This is normal for the system.
