front drivers door

hi I have bought this vehicle the drivers door was caught in the wind then snapped the checker strap have replaced it, but the door has dropped about two inches. It will closed if you lift the door with the door handle I have looked at the hinges they seem to be in line. please how will it reline and close properly?

recheck hinge alignment, snapped hinge pin,hinge was probably tweaked bent backwards to far, time to pull door off check hinges off of vehicle.

Yes, the door has been "sprung" which bends the hinges, you might be able to loosen the mounts and readjust it, please let us know what happens.
