Freeze plugs removal

Just need to know would it be easier for me to pull the motor or just lift the motor or just take like things around the motor out for a freeze plugs. Vehicle listed above is drive an A4 Quattro.

Hi,

That is really based on which freeze plug is leaking. Removing or lifting the engine is somewhat involved. I realize that most Audi shop manual repairs begin with, step 1, remove the engine. LOL If it is in an area where a few things can be removed to access it, that is what I would do. If it is behind the engine, that is a different situation. Removal is extensive, lifting to access is a bit easier. If you can access the leak by simply removing a few components, that is the direction I would go.

Let me know approx where the leak is located so I can better direct you.
