How to get to the upper freeze plug on the drivers side? What needs to come off

Yep, these can be tricky and there is no "one way" of doing thins job, there is only, "technique" you must remove anything you can to get a better angle on it so you can do the work, even remove the engine mount if needed and raise the engine on one side, if you add a video in you response of the problem I can help more, in the meantime here is a video to show you the tool you will need.
