Someone put oil and antifreeze in the Master cylinder

Should I change the master cylinder and both back wheel cylinders and the two front calipers and blow out the brake lines to fix this? A line broke in the front and the pedal went to the floor. Now I can’t get a firm pedal. It won’t pump up to bleed out the fluid. Also there is a weird substance in the fluid that comes out when I open the bleeders.

Good morning,

Yes, anything with rubber has to be replaced. The petroleum in the fluid ruins the rubber seals and will cause total brake failure.

You should be good after replacing all those parts. Make sure you get all the old fluid out before installing the new parts. If you do not, it will ruin the new parts as well.

I will give you procedures but can you confirm it is a 1999 and not an 1989. 1989 that had the 2.8 engine.
