Head replacement

I have a 65 comet w/ 289 engine, I recently freshened up all components and put the engine back together. I re-used the head bolts. Stupid me. After starting the engine for 3-4 minutes, the antifereeze started seeping out of the head gasket. I immediately shut it off. Can I just re-place the head bolts and salvage the gasket without pulling the motor apart, or do I need to rip the engine apart again to install new gaskets.

I think you have problems other than the head bolts. In 1965 they commonly reused headbolts, not like the special head fastening systems they have now. I think it has to come apart and you need to find out why it leaked --- bad gasket, bad mating surface(s), improper torque or whatever.

But first, I would just try retorquing the head.
