Freon fumes

I have a 93 ford torus when the air is on you start smelling freon I just had new lines put on I was wondering if another line could of went

What goes it smell like? Not being sarcastic, but I have no idea what it does smell like. If you had a freon leak noticeable enough for you to notice, your system would not even turn on after a very short while, that's one of the purposes of the pressure valve, to prevent the system from destroying itself with lack of refrigerant.
