2003 Ford Windstar noise in blower box

when i start the van up i here a steady thump coming from the heater box area, sometimes it will just stop, then start up on its own, i checked under the hood but the noise is definatly coming from the inside of van,

Hi there,

If this noise is when you furn on the fan, you may have debris stuck in the fan or the fan motor is running out of balance, you will have to have the fan removed to inspect.
