2003 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Automatic 104000 miles

We have recently had a new ALTINATOR and BATTERY put in our van and we are still having issues with my interior light s diming and headlights and inside lights all going out? Van will die and will not turn over w/o a jump then after a jump it dies about a minute later. I wan to know what you think the problem is

First, make sure the new alt is good. If it is, chances are there is a burnt fuseable link between the alt and the battery.

Let me know what you find.
