I have grinding noises coming from the front of my 03 windstar, mileage 62000. It has brand new roters and pads. I raised it, chocked the rear wheels, and placed in nuetral. The wheels still spun. I placed in park and was able to spin the front wheels by hand. I would have thought the transmission would have locked the wheels. Is my grinding maybe coming from the drive from the transverse mounted engine?

Hi:
One front wheel at a time will turn in park. If you had both on the ground, it would hold you. As far as the noise, is there any change when you drive and turn from left to right?
