2003 Ford Windstar Fuel pump fuse

2003 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Why does my fuel pump motor fuse keep burning out? Tried to replace it but wont turn over without burnin the new one out.What to look for

Suspect a short in wiring either to fuel pump or other component that is on the same circuitry as the fuel pump fuse such as the ignition switch. Need to inspect wiring, especially if any repairs have been made recently check that area first.
