Engine Performance problem
2003 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 120000 miles

I need to replace my fuel pump and was wonder how I could get to it. A friend of mine is a mechanic and told me there might be a compartment door to get to it without dropping the tank.

nope, your vehicle doesn't have an access panel to the fuel pump. you must drop the tank assembly.
