i stoped by auto zone and they ran a test on the van because my engine light was on. it came up p0442. my gas cap was broke so i replaced it but light is still on said that it might also be the evap canister or hose or perge vent or vacuum leak how would i check these thing to find out if one of those are the problem or do i need to reset the light and if so how do i do that.and if you could send a picture to show where things are that i need to check that would be helpfull since im not sure what these things are have not had to ever work on this van before

Hello,

Ok, Here is the Code Def...

P0442 Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (small leak)

If it was the Fuel Cap the light will turn itself off after about 5 Key Starts. However, this is a very small vacuum leak. And can be a real pain to find unless you have the right equipment. The last small leak I had took me 4 hours to find.
