Like the thousands of you, our 03 Windstar SE has developed the dreaded ABS module problem. Dealership just quoted $1300 for the part, not including labor. I've already filed a complaint the the NHSTB. Now what?

Unfortunatly, you need to pay for the repairs, then if a recall is forced, you will be reimbursed by Ford.

With my 2000 Ford Windstar 3.0 liter my ABS light goes on and off a lot. I had it scanned and was told that many codes where found. My wife said she felt the back brakes grab just before the light came on the other day. Any ideas?

Ford does not want to own up to Windstar, seems the 2000-200? seem to have ABS problems built right in, no extra charge! One suggestion is to unplug the cruise deactivator switch on the master cylinder and use a jumper wire in the connector. May or may not be helpful. Call NTHSA at 1-888-327-4236
add your voice to this concern, if enough calls are made, you may get a Ford recall out of it.
