I am having a problem with the amber ABS and the red BRAKE lights coming on after the van has been driven or warmed up. Some days I can drive 50 miles with it not coming on at all, then I can make a short trip 5 miles round trip and the lights come on. Took it in to the dealer and they say the ECU/HCU needs replaced. this problem started after replacement of pads, and there is a noise coming from pedal when pressed. Does anyone have an idea as to what I need or can check to determine what may be the problem? brakes work even with lights on. I have tried the 25 mph test as list in other questions with no lights, but have noticed the lights come on with out pressing the pedal.
