Almost three years ago I got the idiot ABS, Brake, Emerg. Brake lights going off. I replaced the ABS module. I took my car in for the cruise control recall. The said that the cruise control was not corroded and had nothing to do with the with ABS brake system going bad. I thought that these two systems were linked? Can you help me understand. Thank you.

The two are tied together only by a switch. When the brakes are applied, the switch turns off the cruise control. As far as the ABS and other lights that came on, they honestly have nothing to do with the cruise control.

Let me know if you have other questions.
