I have a leak that has a funny odor when the heat is on and I am parked. There is a leak under the engine on the passenger side. The inside hood of the minivan is wet on the passenger side. It appears it be leaking antifreeze.

Hi there,

You may have developed a leak in the heater core, have the cooling system pressure tested with the heater tap on hot. Tell your mechanic that you suspect the heater core is leaking, so that he /she can inspect it closely.

sorry my error, it's a case of different terminology, justanold is quite correct and i do apologise if i miss lead you. In Aust the "Hood" can mean the roof lining" and i was wandering down the wrong road.
