The information Center in my wife's 2002 Windstar is no longer displaying. We believe it started either immediately or shortly after replacing the battery. I did not use any type of memory saver when I did it. Just disconnected R & R and attach cables.

Could this just be a reset issue,. with some secret and unlnown code :o). I tried pressing each of the 3 buttons individually and in pairs, without success.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I will gladly submit a donation, assuming I receive a response that resolves my issue.

Thanks,

Paul

the ilumination of message centre comes from interior light circuit .. so if they are working the message centre should be lighting up ... the only other wires to message center are from instrument cluster ..... all i can find in my manuals is this part of the troubleshooting guide ??

The message center display is blank - while not on the blank display section
fault .... Instrument cluster.
INSTALL a new instrument cluster. REFER to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
