My water pump has started leaking. I decided this evening to go buy the water pump to replace it, since it usually takes me a couple of hours to replace a water pump i figured I could finish this one rather quickly. After removing a million and one bolts I figured that I cant take it out. The bolts stick out way to far and removing them is impossible. The water pump doesn't clear the frame and the engine because of the blots. Am I going to have to lift the engine as with the 96 windstar?

Hello,

Yes, in order to get the water pump out and put the new one back in, you will have to tilt motor upwards.
This will require you to undo the front motor mount.
