Electrical problem
2002 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I had a bad alternator replaced and can still not get the dash warning light to go off. I had the electrical system checked and the alternator is charging properly and the battery is good. They also did a load test and also the test to determine if there was any drain on the battery with nothing on and this test was also passed.

How do I get the light to go off?? Thanks

The light is controlled by the voltage regulator which is built into the alternator so most of the time, the alternator is the problem although it can also be a problem in the related wiring.
