Transmission jumped out of overdrive. The overdrive off light is flashing and the check transmission light is on. It shakes when you first take off and straightens out a little after going about 20 miles an hour. I have changed the transmission fluid and filter. And it still will not go into overdrive and shifts hard into park, reserve, and drive. Do you think this could be a sensor, or something internal with the transmission?

The lights are an indicator that the PCM sees a problem with the trans/controls.Have the PCM scanned for codes first to see what th P CM has stored as far as codes goes, this may lead to the fix for your vehicle
