2001 Ford Windstar message/info center

The message/info center that displays compass, outside temperature, gas miles left, and tells other problems, such as oil change needed, just quit working. No buttons will reset it--it is just not on at all. It is not a blown fuse either.
Hello again! I did get the problem fixed with the message center--just resetting the computer by turning on headlamps and unhooking the negative battery terminal for 15 min did the job.

I do have another question though, same vehicle--2001 ford windstar -- the backup sensors do not work, the button on the dash lights up OFF continually. It will blink if it is pressed, but never go on, so its always lit up as off. Therefore the sensors do not work. Any solution?
