2001 Ford Windstar Gas Smell????

Smells problem
2001 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Automatic

I have noticed a gas smell more on the drivers side in middle seat of my van. I think it only happens when i have the air turned on. It happened last summer and then i didnt notice it all winter and its doing it again now that im using the air conditioner again. We took it to get it checked out and they couldnt find anything.....What could be the problem?

Do you only smell it inside with the air on? Do you have rear AC? Have you checked fuel lines for leaks?

Yes I've only noticed the smell when the air is on and only inside I'm pretty sure. I do have vents in back also. The people we took it to said they checked everything and didn't find a leak though. If it keeps doing it I guess I need to just take it somewhere else

If you smell it in the vehicle with the AC running, the leak is under the hood. Did they check the injectors?

Thats my issue. Only when AC is on. I have looked everywhere without success. If it is the injectors, would a injector cleaner work?
