The curse control on my dad's winstar van has stopped working. I checked the fuse and it appears to be ok. I don't have a clue what to try next. Any suggestions will be great help. Thanks.

I had the same problem on my 2002 windstar - from my understanding the Speed Sensor had failed to work any more. I had a shop replace it which fixed my problem. Hope this will help you.
