My 2000 ford Winstar is giving me a weird problem. The transmission work fine when yoiu first start driving the van, and will continue to do so until I come to a full and complete stop. The van will then not want to go into gear, and after a few moments it will POP(with noise and vibrations) into gear. The van will drive fine perfectly. I'm not getting any check egine light. I also replaced the filter and fulid. This confuses the heck out of me. Anyone have any ideas of what it may be?

Trans issues may not necessarily set the check engine light, scan it anyway, or there may be no codes at all.. find yourself a reliable trans shop, there are preliminary tests they can run without pulling the trans, line pressure, solenoid checks with air pressure, etc..
