Transmission problem
2000 Ford Windstar Front Wheel Drive Automatic 156000 miles

I was at a 4way stop and when I went to take off the car just stopped, but not like it lost power, it was like it just went into neutral. I tried all the gears (reverse, 1st, 2nd)...nothing. What could it be?

Check tranny fluid
check if it has park
if no park check and suspect axles
if all checked ok
its an internal tranny failure check for codes
