A month ago, a mechanic told me that I would need to replace the water pump soon.
Now I see a small puddle of water underneath the car between the driver and the passenger seat near the middle of the van.
Is this from the water pump? How serious is it (I'm saving $ for the repair)? Can I add water to the pump?

COuld be .is th efluid the same color as ht ecoolant in the engine. I would have any leaks on that van taken care of immediately. Those engines are porne to blowing head hgaskets and cracking cylinder heads when overheated. This will cost a buch more than a water pump now
