Engine Performance problem
2000 Ford Windstar Front Wheel Drive Automatic 110000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, I really need your help. I am having a problem with my 2000 ford windstar stalling out when I go from a stop to a start position. It is fine as long as I do not have to stop and give it gas again. When you first take off it feels like it misses and jumps a bit. I just had the altenator and spark plugs replaced today and still it drives terrible. I have three young children and are scared to drive it. Thank you so much for your help!

You may have a vacuum leak . You can go to an auto parts store ,(like Autozone or somewhere ) and get them to put it on a scanner to see if there are any stored codes on the vehicle (it usually free of charge ) .
