Hi:
You have a vacuum leak somewhere if you hear a hissing. Checl for it around the rear of the intake.
Some mechanics use starting fluid to find leaks. If there is a leak, it will suck it in at the leak and the RPM's will raise. I don't do this because of the potential of catching something on fire, but many do it.
Let me know what you find.
Joe

Put new wires, plugs, air filter, pvc. Checked fuel filter its ok. Idles better but still not getting good response on acceleration. Seems to hesitate and take alot of peddle with no acceleration. O2 sensor? M.A.F. Sensor? T.P.S. Sensor? How can I find out without diagnostic tester? Thank you for your help

Hi:
Check this out for the O2 sensor. But you will need some general tools (a multimeter).
