If the following pic is what you are trying to replace. Then unless you have the right tool to set it or have enough experience were you can look at the position of the inside of old one and line everything up correctly. You should have a garage do it for you.

we have the timing tool, wish us luck

this car is driving me crazy!!!!!!!

we had codes 1121 and 1309,

now after changing maf, 3 oxygen sensors, plugs and wires --

finally after $90 in gas the thing decides to run decent but the codes are still there

when we bought the car, 43 miles before the warranty was up @ a used car dealer it broke down...

they said they replaced the cam sync.

I am not blonde but I am american,

I thought the check engine light was a camera and part of the theft security feature....

anyway I don't know that the light was ever off after the dealer fixed it....

I think I may have bought a lemon?

this car went through 4 dealers after 1 owner?

We are having the same problem and cannot afford a mechanic so we are going to try to do it ourselves. What is the name of the timing tool we will need?
