2000 Ford Windstar air cleaner

i cannot figure out how to remove the air cleaner cover on my 2000 ford windstar w / 3.8l engine.

The air filter on this is in the large round part of the box. You pull on the lever on the clamp and that will open the clamp up. You then pull the halves apart and then remove the filter. You may have to disconnect the intake hose to give you more room to get it out. Its not fun but that how you do it.
