2000 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my friend was hit on the passenger side of her van. the accident ripped the shock out of the spindle and broke the stabalizer bar link that was connected to the shock. i put the new shock on and the new stabalizer bar link. when iwent to put the tie rod back on the spindle, the spindle sits like its turning and the driver side is perfectly straight. what is going on?????

Are you sure the frame isn't bent? Also, it could be a bent steering component or bent spindle.
