How do you know if timing belt is faulty. do ford windstar have chain timing belt?

vehicle has a lot of noise coming from front lower right side. sounds like clicking.

Windstars have a timing chain. I know you said it was a clicking sound, but can you be more descriptive? Does it increase with acceleration? Is it high pitched, low pitched?
