1999 Ford Windstar clicking noise when heat temp is turned

When I turn the heater temp lever up I hear a clicking sound that is simular to windsheild wiper motor.

my 2000 windstar had this problem...mechanic replaced mode door actuator...$106 parts...$100 labor
