Noises problem
1999 Ford Windstar 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My 99 ford windstar makes a weird noise when going up hill, someone said it might be the torque converter I will check the motor mounts though. just wondering if it's possible for the torque converter to be loose or whatever?

it sounds like a fan scraping the side of something, when going uphill then i let go of the gas and it stops. i accelerate slowly .

Check the motor and trans mounts to make sure there isn's a broken one.
