Hi guys I had my front struts change on my van now the engine light came my van has had no problems before he change the sturts can this be due to him banging the hell out of part that holds the strut in place due it would'nt slide out im thinking maybe he knock something loose

It is possible you have disturbed a wire/connector .. have the cars PCM read for fault codes most good autoparts stores (autozone etc.) do this free .. ring the store to check .. repost with the full codes for a better diagnosis and repair information ..

1st Thks Dave for your help now heres the deal the mech. Put in the computer & it said it was the bank 1 sensor 1 (an o2 sensor) I'm thking maybe it came out. Is this something I can just plug back in please let me know thks a lot for the help

The sensor should not have come out as it is screwed in .. maybe the wiring connector is off or damaged in some way .. check this first .. bank 1 is the side with #1 plug on the head and #1 sensor is the first o2 sensor on the exhaust before the catalytic convertor ..
