Engine problem
1998 Ford Windstar V6 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 176000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My Windstar has oil in the radiator. There is no coolant contaminting the engine oil. The water pump was replaced approximately 1200 miles ago
and everything was fine until a recent 300 mile trip out of town. Do you think the timing cover gasket could have been damged and failed due to the recent water pump replacement? Do you have any tips for gasket replacement on this 3.8 L engine

Hi there,

If your radiator has a transmission inter cooler fitted i would be getting it checked for a leak there, and also check for water contamination in the transmission oil as well.
