1998 Ford Windstar V6 Front Wheel Drive Manual 93000 miles

I was coming home from work this week and my car started to hesitate and when I pushed on the gas it want to stall. A couple blocks from home I knew I was not going to make it and right before it died all my lights came on and my gas gauge readed a half tank when I really only a quarter tank left, then it went dead. I try to start it back up and it would not. I got it towed to my house where I try to start it and it kicked right over. All the light came back on after a min or two and it wanted to stall again so I shut it off. Not sure what to do!

Check battery voltage and alternator output. Sounds like that is the problem. When the system gets below 10.5 volts all the individual computers start acting stupid.

To me it sounds like the fuel filter is clogged, if you have not change it out here is the location so you can swap it out.
