1998 Ford Windstar neutral problems

replaced neutral swith, turbine speed sensor, speed contral harness wire assembly, and still when we stop van goes in neutral, we press on gas nothing until the van is ready to go, getting whiplash here. What is wrong with this thing?

The first thing to check is the fluid level in the trans because that is a typical symptom of low fluid. If the fluid level is good, then you have internal trans issues. It could be a plugged up filter but it could also be a bad front pump among other things.
