1997 Ford Windstar Temp gauge not working

I just had a new motor installed on my van and my temp gauge is not working. What could be the possible cause?

Hi there,

I would take it back to the installer and ask them to check that the sender is plugged in and if it is to test and replace if faulty.I may just be a loose wire,
