The oil light starting flickering at low idle. The recommendation was to replace the oil pressure sending unit. This was done, and problem still existed. Just got done getting oil pump replaced, and oil light still flickers on at low idle. If driving(rpms over 1000) light stays off. The oil pan was taken off and cleaned, along with the screen. Any ideas? I am very frustrated as this is costing me a fortune and the problem STILL is happening.

Thank you.

Need to install a manual gauge to verify the low oil pressure at idle.Might be a gauge problem or it could be bad bearings/clearences in the engine
