1996 Ford Windstar fuel pump

I ran out of gas while idling. I put 4 gallons of gas in and it ran my battery down trying to start. I can hear the fuel pump start up but I am not getting any fuel to the engine

Check the fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge to rule out the fuel pump, intank pick-up sock and fuel filter
