I have a 1996 Ford Windstar 3.8 L with 186,000 miles and runs good. The question I have is regarding the door ajar warning sound. The beeping noise indicating "door ajar" is always on when I drive the vehicle or when the vehicle is idle. All the doors are closed and it has been beeping for about a month and will not turn off. Is there a wire I can cut? Please help?

Does the dome light stay on, then check the switches in the door frame that turn on the lights in the car. If one is stuck, replace the switch.

Had same problem with my 1998, especially in cold or damp weather. Lubricated all door locks with WD-40 before this winter, soak them good! Had no problem since!
