1995 Ford Windstar What's up?

It dies only sometimes while driving. Its not overheating. More like a vaporlock?Diagnostics says it needs a tune up would this cause it to die and then run good later or is it something else entirely?If I let it set for a few hours then it runs a few more days and then does it again

Hi there.

A full tune up would be a good place to start, including all filters, cut open the fuel filter and see how much muck is in side. Check the fuel pressure as well and have a scan done with the tune, start here.
