1995 Ford Windstar

Vehicle does not shift out of low gear, reverse is operational. It does not slip or anything like that, but while in drive, it shifts into neutral when it wants to shift to second and will not shift to second. Any ideas?

Read my article posted on August 21 entitled 1995 Windstar: Solution for No Shift / Hard Shift.

See if any of the items I listed are applicable to your situation. Basically, it revolves around the throttle position sensor being faulty.
