Each time I turn the key on, I notice the dashboard needles get pinned to the highest setting for a couple seconds, then fall all the way to zero for a couple seconds, then float to the proper places. It never used to do this.
The truck starts & runs fine but I am anticipating something is wrong.
What is causing this?

Hi there,
Thank you for the donation,

This can sometimes be related to a battery or chassis earthing problem, i would first check that all the earths are clean, tight & making a good contact, start here.
