Electrical problem
1968 Ford Truck

I have a 1968 ford truck. When i cut the headlights on the front parking lights cut off and the rear lights still work. The front parking lights work fine until i cut the headlights on. Any suggestions??

try disconnecting the dimmer switch and see if that cures the problem. thy get corrosion and gunk in them an dthe headlights won't work. the headlights should still come on. Otherwise you have short someplace in your electrical circuit.
